Scatec Solar is strongly committed to protecting personal data. This Privacy Statement applies to and governs data collection and usage of personal data. By using the Release by Scatec Solar website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Scatec Solar ASA operates the website and is the controller for the processing of your personal data.

To the extent your personal data is processed by one of Scatec Solar’ business units, that business unit will be considered controller when determining the purposes and means for the processing in accordance with any applicable privacy statement for the processing.

In order to subscribe, you must provide your consent prior to receiving the newsletter and you are free to withdraw it at any time. You may opt out of receiving newsletters from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions at the bottom of the newsletter that you receive.

If you submit a report through our whistleblowing channel, our third party service provider BDO may collect information about whether or not you are an employee of Scatec Solar and your name, address, telephone number, email address if you choose to provide us with that information. You are not required to answer each question in the questionnaire and you may choose to remain anonymous. The data processing is necessary for our legitimate interest of discovering breaches, suspected breaches or incidents and for the purposes of carrying out the obligations relating to social security and social protection law.

We will process your personal data securely and will apply and maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, in particular where the processing involves the transmission of data over a network, and against all other unlawful forms of processing. This Privacy Statement does not address or govern the privacy practices adopted by third parties on third party websites or in relation to third party services that may be accessible through use of the website. The Release webpage is governed by Norwegian law, and the District Court of Oslo shall be the legal venue with exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from your use of this website.
